Andrzej Rojek, our Board Member and President of Jan Karski Educational Foundation received the 2017 FASPE Award for Ethical Leadership awarded posthumously to Jan Karski. The ceremony took place in New York City on January 30th.

A flurry of raised hands from fourth and fifth graders at the Hannah Senesh Community Day School in Brooklyn demonstrated an enormous interest in the legacy of Jan Karski, the Polish Catholic hero of World War II known as “one man who tried to stop the Holocaust.”
